Ammodo Foundation is a charitable organisation established on 3 September 2010 and is recognised by the tax authorities as a Public Benefit Organisation.

Ammodo stimulates the development of art, science and architecture. Expanding knowledge and generating new perspectives in these fields contribute to addressing contemporary challenges and driving society forward. Ammodo has developed three programmes that promote and support research and projects in art, science and architecture. Ammodo also produces short films to increase the visibility of the work of pioneers in these fields.

Ammodo Art promotes and supports the development of internationally distinctive visual arts and performing arts. Ammodo Art focusses on experimental and high quality productions and development programmes, working in close collaboration with partners in the art world. Its support offers art institutions and artists the opportunity to create new work, thereby contributing to the development of the artists and the quality of the institutions involved. Ammodo Science
 promotes and supports independent scientific research.
The programme is implemented through the Ammodo Science Awards and the Ammodo Science Fellowship. These awards provide funding to scientists in different stages of their career and to both individuals and research groups in four scientific domains: Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences and Biomedical Sciences. Ammodo Architecture promotes and supports socially and ecologically responsible architecture worldwide. The programme is implemented through the Ammodo Architecture Award and an international knowledge platform. The Award is presented in three categories: from local driven projects, collaborations and initiatives to internationally renowned projects and completed buildings. For more information refer to Ammodo Architecture

Ammodo Docs are shorts films produced and curated by Ammodo with the aim to contribute to the visibility of the work of artists, scientists andarchitects. By producing new films each year, Ammodo works to build a growing,publicly accessible collection of short films about diverse contemporary challenges. In fifteen-minute films, renowned Dutch filmmakers challenge you tosee the world through the eyes of pioneers in the arts, science orarchitecture. For more information, please refer to the Ammodo Docs website.

  • Psychological Methods Lab, research on avoiding ‘model myopia’ in psychology

Ammodo Docs

Development of short documentaries about artists and scientists.

The first series of Ammodo Docs had its premiere in 2023 and included the following six films:

In 2023, work was done on developing the second series of Ammodo Docs. The second series of Ammodo Docs was shown in 2024 and includes the following films:
